About The School
Lane School was built in 1953, and proudly serves students in Pre-K through sixth grade. Lane has approximately 45 dedicated staff members that serve our diverse student body of 276 students. At Lane, we pride ourselves in offering a student-centered, technology-rich learning environment, and provide high quality learning experiences through the implementation of a standards-based, rigorous curriculum across all content areas. Collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking are at the core of teaching and learning in all classrooms.
In addition to supporting students academically, social and emotional learning is integrated through the school-wide implementation of PBS (Positive Behavior Supports) as well as Character Counts Education to foster strong character in all students. Lane’s extra-curricular programming includes a variety of clubs for students that go above and beyond the school day to further enrich the the school experience for all students.
